There is really is no comparison between the Dell Studio One 19 and the Apple iMac. I mean KIA is making some nice looking cars these days, and they do have that 10 year/100,000 mile warranty… But if you want a BMW/Lexis/Infiniti/Acura the KIA just isn't going to cut it.
It's not easy when working with a team that wants to get something out the door before they leave at the end of day. But release and testing schedules should take into account the heavy use times and not roll stuff just to get a page "live" before EOD (end of day). We all do it. But Twitter is a bit more exposed than most of our clients. Dell maybe. A local retailer, perhaps not.
So as Google lines up it's ducks (Browser, OS, eMail, Apps and Social Media management system {WAVE}) the folks in Redmond are trying to cook up an OS that anybody believes in (WIN7), a search engine that can even come to the same party as Google (Bing) and new versions of their vaunted Office applications that will be living closer and closer to the cloud.
How did Google lose the local maps feature on this search? And how did Bing add it and get the phone numbers so well placed? I'm amazed. I might change my FF default to Bing for a bit and see how I like it. Is it true that somehow MS has become the underdog that we want to Win again? (Bing, Win7, Azure)
