My Apple Watch bricked.
Just a black slab of glass strapped to my left wrist.
Nothing.

I'm loving my Apple Watch. Maybe too much. But last night when I was going to check my heartrate throughout the week so far, it bricked.

Of course I went online and learned how to reset it.

RESET THE APPLE WATCH: Hold the main button down for 10 seconds.

HARD RESET THE APPLE WATCH: Hold down the main button and the slide-clicker thing (that I have yet to use for anything) for 10 seconds.

ANNNNDDD nothing.

The only sign of life happens when I put the watch on the charging cable. Here's the video of my sad state of affairs.

Reset. Reboot. Hard reset. Reboot. Repeat. Cry. Go to Apple Genius Bar.

(Stay tuned for the rest of the story as it unfolds.)

Update. Par-for-the-course! Apple gave me a brand new Apple Watch. And now you will get to enjoy my 2nd unboxing experience. This time on video. Unboxing and sync for the first time video coming.

That's how you make a customer happy. Thanks Apple.
