Maybe quiet smart dudes in social media is more accurate. The difference? It is often as simple as content creation. I think there are a lot of quiet thought leaders in social media, if that is possible. Maybe quiet smart dudes in social media is more accurate. The difference? It is often as simple as content creation. Brogan, Godin, Vaynerchuk, etc. all bust their ass to churn out good content.

Content = attention = thought leadership.

More of the first equals more of the rest. Also, adding the word good in front of each part of that equation does not hurt.
